Fatal Stabbing

A developing story out of Semmes, the Mobile County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal stabbing.

It happened just before 5:00 p.m.  Sunday at Box Road and Lott Road.

Authorties have arrested James Powell.

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says charges are pending against Powell. A spokesperson says Powell and a neighbor got into a fight when Powell reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim was taken to an area hospital by helicopter, but he died.

Authorities are not releasing the victims name at this time.
