A Mississippi man fell to his death
Wednesday afternoon from a high-rise condominium under construction
in Orange Beach.
Baldwin County Coroner Jim Small said 45-year-old Michael Long
of Carthage died at the scene.
Small said Long was setting a reference line for carpenters when
he fell from the 10th floor. Police ruled the fall an accident. It
happened at about 2:30 p.m.
The investigation will be handled by federal and state agencies.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Phoenix West II condominium tower.
