Early this (Friday) morning, local and federal investigators served search warrants on 9 homes withing the city limits of Moss Point. Among the eight people arrested was Rodger Mann, a Shft Captain with the Moss Point Fire Department. Mann was arrested at his home on Pecan Street and charged with Possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (Loratab and Lorcet) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thomas Earl Armstrong, Jr. was arrested at his home on Grierson Street and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (Marijuana) while in possession of a firearm and possession of counterfeit money. Agents seized $1,020 from the home.
In addition to the arrests on drug charges, authorities say they found 3 illegal immigrants in a home of Palmetto Street.
