Firefighters rescued a driver who was dangling off the side of high-rise parking garage in Atlanta.
They don't know how Richard Sisson's car ended up over the edge, but a few wire cables were the only thing keeping both Sisson and his car from falling to the ground, 200 feet below.
"It's definitely one for the history books," said Atlanta Fire-Rescue Captain Bill May. "I've never seen anything like this."
Sisson came in and out of consciousness throughout the rescue effort. Firefighters said it was not easy to get to him. They brought in a tow truck to help secure the vehicle. A firefighter then rappelled down the side of the building, broke out the passenger side window, secured a harness around Sisson and pulled him to safety.
Sisson was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police say he will be charged with DUI once he is released.
