A complaint was filed against Circuit Judge Stuart DuBose this week.
Judge DuBose serves Clarke County, Washington County, and Choctaw County.
On Thursday, the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission filed a complaint in Montgomery.
Sixty charges are outlined. Some of them include, "failing to uphold the integrity and independence of the judiciary".
Back in August, a Mobile Circuit Court Judge ordered DuBose to repay more than $1 million to the estate of a former client.
That case is part of this judicial complaint filed yesterday.

Stuart DuBose is no better than that National Guard Recuiter running around in Clarke County doing as he pleases. What a shame. Such a disgrace to the uniform, same as DuBose. Getting away with whatever they choose. Someone needs to look into the people our Government hire, not only the crooks elected. Adultrey and the uniform along with more doesn’t mix in my book. What a disgrace to all our men and women in uniform. Wake up people!!!
Our tax dollars pay for these deadbeats!!!!

Mr. DuBose seems to believe he is above the law. This is dangerous for an ordinary citizen to believe, but when you are put in the position of authority that Mr. DuBose was in and still have the idea that the laws apply to everyone except you, that is worse than just dangerous. Think of the number of lives he changed by his ridiculous rulings and shenanigans! I know personally of a custody case in which he did not even read the case studies he requested the DHR to provide. PITIFUL! I am thankful to Almighty God that this menace has been removed from the bench and I am also grateful that I do not bear the shame of having cast my ballot for him.

lawyers deciding what punishment a lawyer will get?give me a break.Sure sounds like putting the fox in the hen house.Wait till you see what kind of retirement packages these judges get.

took long enough. now if we could have some openess in the state bar. nearly every other occupation regulated by the state has open access to the public except the lawyers (State bar) but complain or even see the records of the accused you have to request them in writing. this guy is a sleeze, just google him. he cheated on his wife allison and when the husband of the girl he was cheating with called him on it, stuart sued him. he ran for every office in jackson and finally “Won” a very close election, no one was running against him. embarras him, take his law license, take back what he stole.
