Some might call it a little unorthodox! Others wonder what's really going on inside the church advertising sex.

Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Ocean Springs, Mississippi is adding some spice to its Sunday service.

The small church on Ocean Springs Road is starting a series this weekend called "Sunday Night Sex."

Every Sunday evening for six weeks, Reverend John Watson is teaching lessons of romance, sex and marriage.

He says the once-taboo topic is relevant to our lives today and the sign is a way to get people's attention!

"People have to understand that it's just a nickname. It's a very playful nickname for something that's very much needed today. Romance in marriage, it's a part of everyone's life and something we can all relate to. The whole series looks at King Solomon and one of his wives and the relationship and how it develops."

The class starts this Sunday and will be a continuing series if the interest is there. There is a 15 dollar donation per person for the class.

I’m so sick and tired of people repeating phrases like “Word of God” and telling people how God will fix everything. This is so stupid! Since when does God work for you? Who do you think you are, God’s boss/master? Listen to this – God doesn’t care, otherwise you would already be fixed (saved). We need to try to remember that we are “under” God. If you don’t want to teach your children about condoms and high risks associated with anal sex, they may die from aids, with or without God word.

Everything that we need to know is in the word of God, even sex.  If we teach this to our children, we wouldn’t have so many children pregnant at the early ages of twelve.  Why are we so accepting of everything else on boards, except the word of God and the things that need to be addressed. If every church would help fill the void in our children lives, with the word of God; we will see a decrease in any acts of crime and violence.  I say, Go For It!  As a christians, we have to live this life as examples and not just talk. If we don’t teach our children, they will learn about it elsewhere.
