Candles flickered in the darkness Wednesday night to honor 18 year old Lequisa Stacy and her younger sister, 8 year old Sidney Stacy. Both were killed Monday night in a car accident just west of Dothan. Their father, former Alabama football star, Siran Stacy was driving the van. Two of his other children and his wife, Ellen, also died in the crash. He and another daughter survived. Alabama State Troopers say a pickup truck that collided with the van was on the wrong side of U.S. Highway 84. He died in the wreck. Lequisa and Sidney's mother, Glenda Brown, attended the candlelight vigil in Hartford. A classmate and friend of Leqisa's organized the event. Friends and family members shared stories with the crowd about the girls. At one point everyone sang Amazing Grace. The Dothan Eagle attended the vigil. They have video you can watch. Just look for the link next to this story.
