The talk of the town in Kiln, Mississippi is their hometown boy is calling it quits. We're talking about football great, Brett Favre. There's no question Kiln is Favre country. Just look around and you'll find signs of the NFL quarterback; from a gas station that sports a mural in his honor, to the local watering hole where Favre and his Green Bay Packers are the name of the game. And before Favre was breaking records in the NFL, he was playing a little high school ball for the Hancock Hawks. We talked with locals to find out how they're taking the news that Favre is retiring, "every where you go, people talk about Brett Favre. If you have travelling and you got a Brett Favre shirt on, jersey, or something, people come up to you and you know, when they find out you from Kiln, Mississippi, you know, they want to talk about Brett Favre and all. He's an exciting player and I think the NFL's going to miss him," said Hancock County Sheriff, Steve Garber. Kiln locals tell us Wisconsin fans are in town all the time to see where their Green Bay quarterback grew up. News 5 even talked with Wisconsin tourists who stopped in to Kiln to get in on the Favre action, "we just took a little tour in here to see where Brett Favre came from. We didn't know we were going to catch it today, you know, the day that he's retiring, isn't that amazing," said Wisconsin tourist and Green Bay fan, Karen Seefeldt.
