The Foley Police Department says a body matching the description of the missing Foley woman was spotted by a passerby, who called police.
Police had been searching for Walker since Thursday evening when authorities say she wandered off from her home in the Glen Lakes community, just three miles from where the body was found.
"We had exhausted all leads and and pretty much had searched all areas of where we thought she would be, but no one probably would have figured that she would've walked towards town, "said Chief David Wilson with the Foley Police Department. Chief Wilson also says that two driver's licenses in Marilynne Walker's name were found on the body.
Authorities say an autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death and to identify the body.
The Foley Police Department says the investigation is ongoing.
