"It's basically just a product that reduces friction," he explains. "When you reduce friction, you not only increase miles per gallon...you also increase power because friction is what robs you of fuel economy, and engine life, and power."
Could an oil additive turn your car green? A local NAPA Auto Parts Retailer who tested it wrote him recently. "...exceeded our greatest expectations. Eight ounces added to the oil has shown to save over $150 in fuel costs per oil change...."
His friends are convinced...like Steve Campbell, "I've run it in my truck, my Lincoln, my deisel truck, my Harley Davidsons, my lawn mowers...My wife's Lincoln went from 17 miles a gallon to 26 miles a gallon with one bottle in the engine."
And Larry Lawrence tells this story: "When I was using my trimmer around my driveway, this gentleman walked over to me. I never met him before in my life. And he said, 'I've got an additive here. Can I try it in your trimmer?' I said, 'Well, he can hurt it too bad with just a little bit of additive.'" So I just tried it, and that's all it took, and I've been using it every since."
Kupfer's friend, Patrick Martin, comments, "I did landscaping for eight and a half years, and seeing this product, I wish I'd had it back then."
Kupfer has also been met with a lot of ...doubt. He laughs as he says, "One fellow I rode up to and introduced him, or tried to introduce him to it, he says, 'I saw a damned old man in a damned old car drive up here, told me he could save me ten percent on my miles per gallon...I think I got a golf course for sale.' "
That same man, with a long daily commute, now claims a twenty percent increase in mileage for his pickup!
