Mobile police have arrested a man they say was an accomplice in an armed robbery at the Hair Zone on Dauphin Island Parkway.
Herbert Williams walked into the barbershop shortly before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Police believe Williams was a distraction for what happened minutes later.
A masked man came into the Hair Zone and demanded money from the cashier at gunpoint. After getting the cash, the armed robber took off. Williams didn't stick around much longer. Police say he was gone when they arrived.
Williams was arrested at a home on Annwood Drive. Police are still looking for the man with the gun.
