Mobile Police say two men, one armed with a shotgun, robbed the Wachovia Bank on Bel Air Blvd. But they didn't get far with the cash.
Around 12:30, the men walked into the bank with their faces covered. One stood by the door with a shotgun. The other went behind the teller windows and began taking money. After getting the cash, both men jumped in a vehicle and took off.
Minutes later, patrol officers from the First Precinct spotted the getaway car near Halls Mill Road and Darwood Drive. Police pulled them over and recovered the stolen money.
The bank bandits' names have not been released.
