- Coroner Percy identified the shooter as Robert Lanham.
- Victims: Lanham's ex-wife, Rachel J. Lanham, bank employee Ronnie Larrimore and customer James Fayard
- Initial reports said Rachel Lanham was likely shot and dumped out of the vehicle. Cornoner believes she may have been trying to get out of
the car and was ejected when it hit a tree.
1:42 p.m.
- McComb, Mississippi Police Chief Billie Hughes told The Associated Press that the gunman shot himself in the head. He later died at Southwest Mississippi Medical Center.
- Chief Hughes says it was a domestic situation -- not a bank robbery.
12:41 p.m.
A bank robbery suspect is being rushed to the hospital after police say he shot and killed a customer, employee and his ex-wife before turning the gun on himself.
The robbery happened Wednesday morning at a Regions Bank in McComb, Mississippi where the suspect's ex-wife worked. Police say the man shot a customer and an employee. Bot died on the scene.
The man then took his ex-wife hostage. Police found her body on a highway, 4 miles south of McComb.
Police say the robbery suspect eventually shot himself. He is being rushed to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.
