The Jackson County Narcotics Task Force went looking for one man wanted by Pascagoula Police for unpaid fines. They end up arresting three people on drug charges, including the mother of a baby.

Thursday night, agents went to a home on Lexington Drive in St. Martin. They were looking for Devon Cunningham. When agents got to the home, Cunningham was in the middle of a drug deal.

Agents arrested Cunningham and searched the home, where they found powder cocaine, crack cocaine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia. Cunningham was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and transfer of a controlled substance. He was out on probation for drug charges.

Three other people and a baby were at the home during the drug deal. The mother of the baby, Kristen Young, was arrested and charged with one count of felony child abuse. The Department of Human Services took custody of her baby. Young has been arrested in the past for credit card fraud and burglary.

The Narcotics Task Force also arrested Michael Bye and charged him with cocaine possession.

Cunningham's girlfriend was at his house as well. But she was not arrested.

Stories like this make me ever so thankful for my parents!
