After finishing in the Top 10 at Nationals twice, the Alma Bryant High School Archery Team aimed to finish in the top 5 at this year's United States Invitational Championship. And that's exactly what they did.

The team came in 5th out of nearly 175 schools Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky. The competition was very close. There was only a difference of 32 points between 1st and 5th place.

Freshman Cody Brown, who was the top overall male winner at Thurday's State Championships, finished tied for 12th overall with 287 points.

Senior Jackie Goff scored 274 points to finish 24th among High School females.

On Thursday, Alma Bryant won the State Championship in Birmingham to advance to Nationals.
