The archery team at Alma Bryant High School in Irvington is celebrating a state title. The team won the State Championship Thursday in Birmingham. Over 900 archers in Grades 4-12 took part in the competition. Scoring was based on Olympic style, target archery, where a bullseye is worth 10 points,

Red outer 7 points
Blue inner 6 points
Blue outer 5 points
Black inner 4 points
Black outer 3 points
White inner 2 points
White outer 1 point
Alma Bryant won the High School Division to qualify for the United States Invitational Championship in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday.
Cody Brown, from Alma Bryant, was the top overall male winner.
