BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Jefferson County man was charged with
trafficking marijuana after authorities said he flew to California
several times and mailed the illegal drug to his residence in
Graysville. Deputies assigned to the Sheriff's Narcotics Unit
executed a search warrant Wednesday and arrested 24-year-old
Letelly Charles Holifield.
Authorities seized 11 pounds of marijuana, a shotgun, a vehicle,
$5,700 in cash and assorted paraphernalia. Holifield was placed in
the Jefferson County Jail under a $300,000 bond.
