Today is the 9th day of the search for the bodies of four children thought to have been thrown off the Dauphin Island Bridge. One body was recovered yesterday, two were found over the weekend. A group of about 30 searchers are looking for the body of the last little girl today. Because of the rain and wind, fewer people are participating. Over the last week, between 125 and 150 people have participated in the search. Today's search started in Bayou La Batre at daybreak. Boats and other watercraft are launching from Pascagoula today. Authorities believe they that will increase their chances of finding the other child's body.
Many of those not participating in the search are using today to work on their equipment. The search equipment has been used for 8 straight days, and they say it will be undergoing some much needed maintenance.

Unless a discovery is made, the Mobile County Sheriff's Office says they will not hold a news conference. We have crews across South Mobile County. If anything developments, we will tell you about it on News 5 and WKRG.com.
