We (family friends and fellow Police Officers) buried Rebecca yesterday on a cold gloomy day. And even though the skies were grey and the atmosphere was cold and dark, there was warmth for Aden and Reesa through all of the family and friends that attended the service and funeral. I wish to extend my gratitude to Lt. John Spivey with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office for donating his time to play the bagpipes at the graveside, Radney Funeral home for their help with the service and funeral, the Saraland Police Dept. for assisting with traffic as well as working the streets of Chickasaw for several hours so the entire police department here could attend the service, and the rest of my fellow officers with C.P.D. Your assistance made this day as warm and glorious as could be expected for Sgt. McEvoy. Laney Sprewell was also a big big help for Mac with this whole ordeal. Glenn Wickell is probably the best friend Mac could ever ask for. Thanks to all of you for the help. R.Davis 4720
