Three of the four men arrested in the slaying of Sean Taylor are charged with unpremeditated murder today in Miami. The suspects appeared Saturday (12/01)
morning before a judge in Fort Myers, Florida.
Ranging from ages, 17 to 20, four men were arrested yesterday (11/30) in Fort
Myers. Police said the suspects went to Taylor's home near Miami this week
with the intention of stealing and did not expect Taylor to be there.
Taylor was at his Palmetto Bay home recuperating from a knee injury.
Twenty-year old Venjah Hunte, 18-year old Charles Kendrick Wardlow and 17-year
old Eric Rivera appeared in court Saturday morning. All three men have been
charged with unpremeditated murder and were denied bond.
A fourth suspect, 19-year old Jason Scott Mitchell has not been charged with a
crime and has not yet appeared before a judge.
Funeral services for Sean Taylor will be held Monday (12/03) at Florida
International University. The entire Redskins organization is scheduled to
attend.
