least 22 deaths following the latest round of severe weather.
The most recent death is in Georgia, where authorities say at
least one person died after severe storms crossed the state. There
are reports of downed trees and damaged homes and businesses in
multiple counties.
Authorities in one county were reporting a second fatality, but
officials say that information was incorrect.
At least 20 other deaths are being blamed on a storm system that
brought tornadoes to Oklahoma and Missouri yesterday. At least 13
people died in Missouri and at least seven deaths are being
reported in Oklahoma.
Weather officials have not yet confirmed if any of the Georgia
storms produced tornadoes.
Counties along Georgia's southern coast are still under tornado
warnings and watches.
