One person is dead after a fatal crash in Mobile this morning. The accident happened on Interstate 10 between Dauphin Island Parkway and Interstate 65.
The accident shut down all four lanes of the interstate for a while this morning, causing massive traffic problems. So far, the names of those involved and the cause of the wreck have not been released.
We will have more information later today on News 5 and WKRG.com.

I think this video should not be able to be viewed by the public.  I could see if the person in the truck lived and was fine.  WKRG needs to put themselves in the families place.  I lost a love one in a car wreak and it was the hardest thing viewing pictures and video from the scene in newspapers and on TV.  She was still in the car when some of these were taken.

Asking WKRG to take this video off is like asking someone to quit their job. This is their Job!!!! It is a sad situation and my prayers go out to the family but come on....how would anyone know anything if the news stopped reporting? Others have suffered loss and the news reported it.Did anyone of you ask them not to when it wasn`t someone you knew?Again, I am sorry for your loss but just because you are hurting don`t take it out on the media.

Continued, remember all the horrible accidents and think of all the familys affected by them, how do they feel about the pictures and videos being shown, if you think of everyone involved and try to take out all the things that might hurt their feelings, their would be hardly any news, what if this happens again tomorrow to someone else, are you going to complain about it if you don’t know their family, probably not. Focus on what you can do for this family, not all the bad, look for the good, somewhere their may be some good that comes out of this down the road. Ask yourself what you can do to help this family or someone else that may go through this tomorrow. This is not the only family to suffer a loss like this in our community, they may not want all the attention that you are trying to give it, it just adds to their grief. Think positive, not negative. Pray, pray, pray.

I know thos family also, my prayers go out to this family. It is a horrible thing that this happened, but the news has to be reported. If you want to help this family, don’t waste your time griping about WKRG, it is not their fault the this accident happened, they have not disrespected his family and showed him being taken off by the ambulance or into the hospital like the 16 yr old on Dec. 23. How do you think his mother feels everytime a picture or video is showed, or the children thrown from the bridge, how does their mother feel when those videos are shown. Use your time to pray for this family and offer your help in any way you can, do they have ins, did he have enough SS paid in for her to draw off of, think of these things and do not add to their stress by harping on this video, everytime you mention it to them, think of their feelings and if it adds stress to them or not.

Very disrespectful, a man, a father, a friend, and a husband is killed and all the news crew cares about is how much traffic was held up.

Makes me sick.

I agree completely, there is no need for this video to remain posted.
This man has a family, and many friends, who have been devastated by this tragedy. Please remove this video out of respect for his family.

To WKRG- Please take this video and pictures off your website. This man has children who do not need to see these.

To everyone else- Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks,

Bailey

WKRG has no tact. The guy who died has a wife, kids, family who I’m sure would not want this video clip played on the internet. The media only cares about the story, not the people affected by the story. What a great group of winners at WKRG, how disrespectful.
