The only thing was where they were playing. And I'm sure they didn't have Birmingham as one of their site. But the NCAA committee had other ideas, as they rewarded the Jags with an at-large berth... a #10 seed for the Big Dance. USA will face 7th seeded Butler in Birmingham, this Friday at 1:45 on News 5. This is South Alabama's 8th trip to the tournament... the 3rd trip for head coach, Ronnie Arrow with the Jags, and he'll make his 2nd straight trip to the Dance leading Texas A&M Corpus Christie last year. Tickets for Friday's game will go on sale Tuesday morning at 10 AM at the Mitchell Center box office. Stay tuned to News 5 for more updates on South Alabama's trip to the Big Dance.
I think Ronnie Arrow is 23-1 after a loss...Butler should be very, very afraid.
