WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Authorities in western Kansas say a woman
who became stuck on her boyfriend's toilet while apparently sitting
on it for two years is refusing to cooperate with medical workers
at a Wichita hopsital.
The Ness County Sheriff says the 35-year-old woman wasn't glued
or tied, but became "physically stuck by her body." Sheriff Bryan
Whipple said the police found the woman after her boyfriend called
police late last month to report there was "something wrong" with
her.
Whipple says the woman initially refused help, but was finally
persuaded by emergency medical personnel and her boyfriend to go to
a hopsital. At that point, the sheriff says, responders pried the
entire seat off the toilet. It was later removed from the woman's
body at the hospital.
The boyfriend told investigators he had brought the woman food
and water and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom. But
he did not explain what took him so long to call for police.
Investigators will present a report to prosecutors who will
determine whether any charges should be filed.

I was wondering why her family didn’t call on her, but it turns out that her mom was stuck in her bath tub and her father was stuck on the riding lawnmower.

Actually turns out she has a mental problem/retarded maybe and somebody should be held accountable for this. Terrible thing.

Hilarious!!! How can someone sit on a toilet for 2 YEARS!!!! I can barely sit on one for 2 minutes!!! Was she handicapped supposedly??

I find it very hard to believe this story! Her butt would have rotted off in that amount of time.

I thought I heard a reporter on the evening news say that her skin grew in around the toilet seat, and that the toilet seat is now up for auction on ebay, (maybe I added the last part).

I really want to know what kind of work her boyfriend does. My guess is he either works for the government - county, state, or federal, or a family owned company. I want to see a picture of these guys. I can’t imagine anyone being so lame as these two people.

God help us!

Common sense isn’t that common anymore. Maybe they lost the toilet instructions. They could have at least used liquid plumber and had the tidy bowl man there for back-up.

Two years sitting on a toilet??? Geez, she must me nuts! This is the funniest thing yet - and Mercedes’ solution really got me laughing. I just can’t fathom this two years thing...maybe its a typo?

Is that a joke, because I’m laughing. If this guy cared about her he would have called someone long ago. If a family member of yours was stuck on a toilet would you help them or just keep them alive..... Obviously there is something wrong with both of these people.
