Orlando man arrested after beating neighbor with hammer. Woman Beaten with Hammer

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Police in Orlando say a woman is in
critical condition after her next-door neighbor beat her in the
head with a hammer.
Police say James Otis Christian Junior beat the victim in the
street yesterday. Other neighbors witnessed the attack.
Christian is charged with attempted first-degree murder with a
deadly weapon. He's being held without bail.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital and her name hasn't been
released.
