gunman opened fire earlier this month, killing a Palm Beach County
paramedic, is set to reopen today.
Alburn Edward Blake entered the fast food joint in suburban West
Palm Beach during the lunch rush on March 3 and killed Rafael
Vazquez, then wounded four other customers before killing himself.
Wendy's spokesman Craig Schultz says the decision was made after
consulting with numerous trauma and grief management experts. He
says reopening is a way to get back to normal. The restaurant has
been renovated.
And the Dublin, Ohio-based burger chain has raised roughly
$50,000 for the Vazquez family.
