LAS VEGAS (AP) - A three-alarm fire has broken out on the roofof the Monte Carlo hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Flames and plumes of black smoke can be seen on what appeared to
a west-facing rooftop of the resort. Guests are being evacuated to other hotels. There are no reports of injuries.
A Las Vegas fire spokesman says city and county firefighters are
on the scene. The fire was reported just before 11 a.m.
