TV reporters and other staff members attack a man and his bodyguards who stormed into the station and beat up the News Director.
Sri Lanka's Labour Minister, Mervyn Silva, and his bodyguards showed up at the state run TV station in Colombo because it did not broadcast one of Silva's speeches.
Angry staffers chased Silva and his bodyguards into an office and refused to let them out. Silva was freed three hours later when he agreed to apologize to the staff.
During his escape from the TV station, staffers covered Silva in pink ink. Police arrested one person for the attack on the station's News Director.
The Sri Lankan government condemned Silva's actions.
