Many people have seen the home video of Tiger Woods hitting golf balls as a toddler. Well there's a new pint-sized putter on the prowl.

T.J. McCoy, a four-year-old Colorado boy, accomplished what many people can only dream of. He hit a hole in one.

T.J. is just learning how to play golf. Half the time he hits the ball. Half the time he doesn't.

But he recently hit a hole in one on a 57 yard, Par 3 at a golf course outside Denver. And he did it with his "Snoopy" driver.

T.J.'s dad says his son was upset that he didn't get to putt.

Dear Mr nadocrew:

This is what is known as a “feel good” story. You seem to find that objectionable-
The kid is six years old. You are marginally more mature, although I’m guessing you are somewhat older.

*"I’m not trying to take anything away from the kid."*

Actually, you are.  Fortunately, we have been duly informed that the emperor has no clothes, by you.
Thank you.
We appreciate your eye-opening expose’ on the dangers of six-year-olds with megalomania.

Heaven knows, he may have been thrown on the PGA tour and made a mockery of us all. Alas, you were there to snap us out of our mass hysteria.

I think someone (nadocrew, I’m looking at you) is jealous.

So what if his parents called him the next Tiger Woods. He’s a little kid. When a little leager hits a homerun, parents call him the next Barry Bonds (at least before all the steroid scandals hit). They play a mean game of hoops they’re called the next Michael Jordan or LaBron James. When a kid is painting and drawing like crazy, the parents call him the next Picasso or Dali or Van Gough. When I started taking an interest in writing stories, my parents called me the next Stephen King.

It’s something parents say about their kids. It’s someone the kids can look up to. It’s both a sign of respect to the famous person named and an indication of pride in the child.

I’ll assume you don’t have children, or you never would have typed such a rediculous comment. When mom & dad read this article to little TJ, that boy is going to beam like the sun for being compared to Tiger Woods, and in the end that’s all that matters.

This is the worst story I have seen published in a while. This kid makes a hole in one on a 57 yard hole and you are comparing him to Tiger Woods? In the video he can barely hit the ball. He whiffed on one of his swings. The story should be “Kid Gets really lucky and makes a chip shot from 57 yards.” Anyone who has played golf for more than a couple years has made a shot from 57 yards.
I’m not trying to take anything away from the kid. It’s great that he made a 57 yard shot and he should be proud of it, but his parents going out a trying to say he’s the next tiger woods because he made a 57 yard shot at 4 years old is ridiculous.
