RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) - It's a big deal over something very small. Model Dani Sperle has set a new record for the skimpiest G-string at a Carnival parade in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The samba dancer wore a strip of cloth just a fraction over an inch (3 centimeters). But she had plenty on her head.

The O Globo newspaper reports the model wore a sparkly, silver headdress and matching arm bands. Other than that, she gave the 80,000 Carnival fans plenty of her to see.

Just in case you're keeping track, the previous G-string record was an inch and a-half.
