A would-be reality TV show director is
charged with locking up four women in the Florida house where they
were learning to be "princesses."
The show features eight women, in all. It's called "Pauper to
Princess," and is being shopped to TV networks. Producers say the
woman are being taught to grow mentally, spiritually, and even
physically.
Four of the women told police that Marc Brilleman locked them
inside the house where they've been living since February.
Police say Brilleman at first denied keeping the women from
leaving, then said they were being punished. Police report
Brilleman also said the women were under contract not to leave.
Police also say the women were upset that they hadn't been paid
for five weeks of filming.
The show's executive producer tells the Orlando Sentinel that no
one was held against their will.
Brilleman posted a $3,000 bond and was released several hours
after his arrest. The case is being forwarded to state prosecutors.
