AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - How many cheerleaders can cram into an
elevator? Apparently not 26. A group of teenage girls attending a
cheerleading camp at the University of Texas tried to cram
themselves into an elevator to see how many would fit. But they got
stuck and had to be rescued. One girl fainted and was treated at a
hospital and released. Two others were treated at the scene.
Officials say the elevator went down from the fourth to the first
floor, but the doors to the overloaded elevator refused to open.
After a few panicked cell phone calls, police and firefighters were
called to the scene and it took a repairman about 25 minutes to fix
the door. UT authorities weren't amused with the prank. A school
police spokeswoman says "It's dangerous, actually," and "They're
lucky that that's all that happened."

I’ll bet there’s a lot of young university of Texas males that will be riding those elevators for a while waiting for it to happen again.
