WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama and John McCain are making plans
for TV chat show appearances.
Obama will sit down with the women of "The View" on Friday.
It's his first visit to the daytime talk show as a presidential
candidate. Obama visited "The View" in 2004 when he was promoting
his memoir "Dreams from My Father."
Hillary Rodham Clinton has held an edge with women voters.
According to exit polls conducted for The Associated Press, she's
captured 51 percent of the female vote compared to 45 percent for
Obama in the competitive Democratic primaries.
The Republican nominee-in-waiting is set to appear on CBS's
"Late Show with David Letterman" on April Fool's Day. John McCain
revealed his intention to run for president during an appearance
with Letterman last year.
