WINTER PARK, Fla. (AP) - Two towns in central Florida are atodds over how many potbellied pigs can be kept under one roof as
pets.
In Kissimmee, officials plan to restrict the number of pet pigs
to one per household after one home drew complaints about the smell
from its handful of potbellies. But in Winter Park, which is only
20 miles away, officials are considering expanding the city's
farm-animal ban and will draft an ordinance.
Owners of miniature pigs across the country have convinced their
local authorities that these animals are exotic pets and not
livestock.
One Kissimmee resident, Pamala Sutton, has several pigs. She
could soon be forced to relinquish her herd. Meanwhile, neighbors
of Mary Anne Holls of Winter Park are amused by her Scarlet Petunia
and Rex Begonia.

You can’t raise chickens in Chickasaw?
OK, that has me wondering. What are the laws pertaining to raising fowl in a neighborhood in Semmes? I have been considering raising chickens lately, and if there is some ordinance against it, I’d like to know before I go out and build coops and buy chickens.
