Perfume in a public gathering is asking for trouble. There are some nasty scents out there. Your smell is not mine!

It is not a big deal if you use the right amount. What happened to just telling people to get real. If you stink to the point of offending you defeat the intent of perfume. Take a bath or stay down wind. I have seen this kind of perfume “abuse” with in the last few weeks. I was at an out door ball game and this lady was 10 rows down and a 15 seats over. It was like you jumped in the English Channel full of ode pepe le pew and had to swim to France to get out of it. You should not really smell perfume unless you are within close contact anyway. Wake up you smelly sheep.

This is one of the “common sense” issues.  Like some of you have said…when it causes other folks medical problems like triggering migraines…then it’s time to do away with it in public.  Wear it all you want to in the privacy of your home…but leave it there.

I think this purfume was also sprayed in Bel Aire mall yesterday. I went in there to shop around and I had to leave because the smell of purfume near Radio Shack/Abercrombie/Bella Vita was making me sick.

I know you have been at church when someone walks by and it takes your breath.People with respiratory problems such as asthma ,bronchitos,copd and other disorders can be thrown in to distress.Smoking was banned in public places,I see no difference but at the same time no disrespect.Use with discretion,little dab will do ya.

I remember being on an elevator years ago and about getting sick.  This lady had on Jungle Gardenia, and my goodness it was horrible.  Of course she also had dyed purple (ish) hair and dark red lipstick on. . . . . .

Yeah. IMO one spray is enough. My husband tells me that my shampoo and body wash I use smells nice enough. I try not to wear a lot of smell good stuff since I am not sure what Maddie is allergic to. In all reality though even if you are not allergic to it the smell can be just way to overwhelming. I started using baby lotion since it is so mild and they make it in more scents than just baby powder now. I did not know they made baby cologne until about a year ago. Why on earth a baby needs cologne is still a mystery to me.

Strong smells of anykind trigger Migraines for me and it wouldn’t be so bad if people knew how to wear perfume.  Less is more!  No need to take a bath in it-that makes it offensive to others.

Try riding in an elevator with a couple who were soaked in the stuff.Mercy,I was a looking for oxygen with my eyes watering.A hint of perfume is nice on the ladies but some I believe take a bath in it.On second thought,they might be trying to cover up what we smell like.

They have that rule in schools now too. You can not bring or put on any lotions, perfumes or anything else with strong scents because many people are allergic to some lotions and perfumes. Of course it did not stop a lot of the girls from doing it. I remember at least two occasions were we had to evacuate the room because someone sprayed a strong perfume or body spray.
