Leaving aside the ad hominen stuff Wayne, the plane struck at an angle and slightly downwards, entering the south side towards the south east corner and emerged at the adjacent east side.

What do you mean by,"And the second plane did make it through the building. At least what was left of it.”, as at that point the building had not yet been attacked ?

When you say,"The twin towers were built using a different construction method than is used traditionally(sp)”, do you mean there were no core columns, whereas this Miami building did have core columns ?

The North Tower was struck perpendicular to the north face of the building, almost centred as measured across the face, and may well have ended up hard against the core columns, whereas the plane striking the South Tower could not have in any substantive way.

Apart from research, common sense is useful too.

Those Boeing aircraft hijacked and flown into the Twin Towers i don’t believe got as far as the core columns.

Certainly not the one that flew into the Sth Tower as it struck tangentially, but oddly, this tower came down before the North Tower which was struck first and much more directly.

What does this prove ? Since the Nth Tower was struck first, and directly, it having fallen last proves that the damage to the core columns (if any) was of less consequence than the fact of no damage to the core columns of the Sth Tower as this building was hit last, and tangentially, and collapsed first !

So, what should then have happened is that the non core column part of both buildings should have collapsed like in the video of the building in downtown Miami, Florida.

The reason the core columns of the WTC also came down with the non core part of the buildings was because explosive packages were present and actually did detonate.
