A spokeswoman from Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center says the last of the world's longest surviving set of octuplets was
released from the suburban Los Angeles hospital Monday night.
Socorro Serrano says Jonah has gone home to join his brothers and sisters, nearly 2½ months after being born
premature.
Jonah was the smallest of the octuplets at birth, weighing just 1 pound 8 ounces. Hospital officials say he now weighs 4 pounds, 10
ounces and is able to bottle feed.
Suleman already had six children, ages 2 to 7, before giving birth to the octuplets. The unmarried and unemployed woman has said
all 14 children were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
