Germany Thursday to raise money.
E-mails being sent to potential donors include links to video of
the speech and to a donation Web site.
Obama spoke before an estimated 200,000 people Thursday evening
in Berlin. He urged the world to break down barriers of all types
that separate people. Declared Obama, "The walls between the
countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand."
He also said the "burdens of global citizenship" continue to
bind the U.S. and Europe. The Democratic candidate for president
said the enemy has changed from the Cold War days, but he said as
the world "stares down terrorism and extremism," the need for an
alliance is the same.
Obama goes next to France and England.
