LONDON, Ontario (AP) - British band Oasis has postponed its
concert in London, Ontario, after a fan attacked and injured
guitarist Noel Gallagher.
A statement on the band's Web site says Gallagher had bruises on
his ribs and hip and was unable to perform Tuesday.
Gallagher was injured Sunday after a man ran onto the stage
during a performance at the Virgin Festival in Toronto. While
playing the song "Morning Glory," Gallagher was pushed from
behind and fell onto his monitor speakers.
Daniel Sullivan, 47, of Pickering, Ontario, has been charged
with assault and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 24.
The London, Ontario, show has been rescheduled for Dec. 15. The
band's next performance is set for Friday in New York.
