Nation’s #1 Recruit Signs With Tennessee

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Bryce Brown, the nation's top-ranked high
school recruit, has signed a letter of intent with Tennessee.
The Wichita East High School star had said he narrowed his final
choices to Oregon, Miami, Tennessee, Kansas State and LSU.
He announced his choice from the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame in
Wichita.
Brown committed to Miami a year ago but chose not to accept the
school's scholarship offer before it expired on Feb. 18.
His brother is Miami linebacker Arthur Brown, who rushed for
1,873 yards and 29 touchdowns in nine games this past season.
During his announcement, Brown first pulled out a Miami hat,
then handed it to his brother. He then he pulled out the Tennessee
hat.
Rivals.com and several other services rated Brown the top
recruit of this year's high school class.
