EDGEWATER, Fla. (AP) - The shark bite capital of the world hasclaimed its first victim of 2008.
Volusia County authorities say a 25-year-old surfer was nipped
on his left foot Friday as he dangled his feet into the water. His

A beach patrol spokesman says he was bandaged up at the scene
then he drove himself to Bert Fish Medical Center.
The University of Florida named Volusia County the shark bite
