Letterman Calls Out McCain For Cancelling

Campaign 08 The Late Show Talk show host says McCain should have sent Palin in his place.

David Letterman is not a happy camper.

Senator John McCain called him late Wednesday afternoon to inform him he had
to cancel his appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" because
McCain had to get back to Washington, DC to work on the governnment's
economic bailout of Wall Street.

Letterman wasn't happy about the turn of events. He also said McCain should
have sent his running mate, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to substitute for his
appearance.

Letterman eventually enlisted MSNBC's Keith Olbermann to fill in for McCain.

you bet our economy is in trouble, i am so sick of these entertainers campaigning on shows. you can not even watch a show now without some entertainer trying to promote obama and yes that is was letterman was doing.

I could really care what David Letterman thinks about the election and John McCain. I watch a few minutes of his show sometimes for the comedy. He’s a comedian, and far from being a role model or a Sage. I suppose next they’ll be taking what Pee Wee Herman says seriously.

david letterman,, is part of the elite. they could care less about the economy. not to mention david letterman is nothing. he has already made his choice for president known so mccain could do nothing right in his stupid eyes.
