A blown transformer near an intersection caused outages and left
dozens of people stuck in elevators for more than an hour.
Clark County Fire Department spokesman Scott Allison said the
transformer blew shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, leaving the hotel

without power for 90 minutes.
No injuries were reported. It wasn't immediately clear what
