What really irritates me is that the NAACP gets involved,idiots like Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton get involved,and they defend their own kind no matter what,they intend to get “Blacks” off even if they are guilty.This is a very “sore"spot with me,I think the 6-cowardly guys should be charged with attempted murder,and given the appropriate sentence.After all…if a “White Boy"was to make and hang a noose on campus he would probably serve 20yrs. to life.Six on one is not a hate crime,one “Noose” equals a hate crime,especially when whites are involved.

well I am white and I do believe this boy who got is butt beat made some racial slurs at these boys? You cant go around sayin things like this, or will get whats coming to you. Also have you seen the youtube videos of the girls at Murphy High school fighting?? my younger cousin is a Jr. at Murphy and she had to come home early cause 4 white girls jumped another white girl and it was so bad alot of the students who witnessed the fight and teachers who were breaking it up had blood all over them, the girl had to be in the hospital for 3 days this didnt make the news. They all got suspended. end of story. I think they are even friends now.

I get what you are saying outlaw. However, these things happen on a daily basis. Years ago things were handled one on one. However, these days everyone has to get in the middle of something that does not concern them. I am not condoning what these kids did by any means. However, if they are going to take this case this far they should treat every case that is like this the same. I remember one girl wanting to “confront” me because some guy she liked was talking to me. She could not do this alone she came up to me with 5 other girls at lunch and asked me my name and asked me why I was talking to her “man”. The only thing I could do was laugh. I told her that if he really is trying to talk to her and me at the same time she can have him. When she realized that I was not going to stoop down to her level and fight over this pathetic guy then she backed off. Of course she kept running her mouth, but that really did not phase me because even after all that her man kept trying to call me until I changed my number. If I ran to my parents every time something like that happened at school they probably would have pulled me out. I do not condone this kind of behavior but you can not just shut out other cases that have happened and treat this one like it is new news.

As another” White Boy” if it takes five or six to Almost kill this young man remeber it was attempted murder to do the deed they need to go to bigboy school with the bars.Fair fights are one on one. when they gang up that is when someone will get killed.These are not games.If this was my son i be looking for them myself.

possibly or it could be the parents. I know my mom has freaked out over my brother getting it fights and he and the other boy had already made up by the time she found out about it but she still got all ruffeled up over nothing and daddy fianlly had to tell her boys are boys (they got in a fight over a girl) and I can remember plenty of times my brother coming home telling daddy, me and so so almost got in a fight and daddy says well you better not get in trouble, you want to fight do it in the yard, and make it fair and then shake hands and be done with whatever it is yall mad about.

It seems like maybe this kid or his parents are looking for some money out of the deal. I do not know. Maybe the guy is just scared out of his wits that he will get his you know what kicked again by them.

Yeah guys usually beat each other up and than the next day are giving each other high fives so I am kinda baffled that this has gone this far. I would maybe expect it from a girl fight, but not guys.

thats rigth minimay, my brother who is 18 and just graduated, he and his friends have gotten in so many fights in the past 6 months, if they are going to put these guys in jail for this they should treat everyne that same this is a waste of time and money. Give them community service or suspend them from school. this is outrageous!!

In high school there was a fight almost everyday. Is it the proper way to handle the situation? Probably not. However, if they are going to take this case to this level they should treat everyone the same that gets into these fights on a daily basis.
