HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - The military is investigating thediscovery of possible human remains at the sprawling Camp Shelby
training base south of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Authorities say the remains were found near motor pool nine on
base. Authorities would not elaborate on how the remains were found
or a possible identity.
Camp Shelby spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Doril Sanders said a
criminal investigation team has been called in from Fort Rucker,
Alabama.
Sanders says the National Guard will release more information
later.
