The rescuers become victims after 2 fire trucks, responding to the same fire, collide in New York City Fire Trucks Collide

Five of New York’s bravest were seriously hurt after two fire trucks collided in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village late Saturday afternoon (11/22).

The trucks were both responding to the same fire alarm at a building in the area when they struck around 6:30 P-M.

Seven other firefighters were also hurt but have minor injuries.

The others hurt are expected to pull through.

No other vehicles were involved. The cause is under investigation.
