TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Four Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies
have been suspended after authorities say they purposely tipped a
quadriplegic man out of his wheelchair at a jail.
Orient Road Jail surveillance footage from January 29th shows
veteran deputy Charlette Marshall-Jones dumping Brian Sterner out
of his wheelchair and searching him on the floor after he was
brought in on a warrant after a traffic violation.
Sterner said when he was taken into a booking room and told to
stand up, Jones grew agitated when he told her that he could not.
Jones has been suspended without pay. Three other deputies have
also been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
Chief Deputy Jose Docobo says the officers' actions were an
aberration.
Sterner's lawyer says he hopes authorities investigate the
deputies for criminal charges.

Send the Sheriff a load and clear message Boycott Hillsborough County. Dont go there on vacation, don’t do business there, don’t spend any time or money there Tampa is a sewer anyway.

He should sue the police department and city. This is the worst thing I have ever seen done by a law enforcement officer.
