MIAMI (AP) - Alex Rodriguez's wife wants to know if he hiredprivate detectives or even had wiretaps installed to spy on her.
Cynthia Rodriguez's lawyers demanded any surveillance or
snooping information as part of a routine request for various
records in their Miami divorce case. The document asks for any tape
recordings, photographs, reports from investigators or results from
possible wiretaps.
Alex Rodriguez's attorney didn't immediately respond Tuesday to
an e-mail seeking comment. The New York Yankees third baseman was
scheduled to start in baseball's All-Star game on Tuesday night in
New York.
Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce last week, citing her
husband's alleged infidelity. She wants their waterfront mansion in
Coral Gables, alimony and child support.
