FERRUM, Va. (AP) - A college campus outside Roanoke, Va., is onlockdown as police search for a suspicious man on campus.
Authorities say Ferrum College's president ordered the school
locked down Tuesday morning after receiving reports of a suspicious
man. The private school is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge
Mountains, about 35 miles south of Roanoke.
A Franklin County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman says a number
of officers are on campus. No additional information is available.
