LOS ANGELES (AP) - Britney Spears has been quietly released froma hospital, according to police.
Captain Sharyn Buck of the North Hollywood police station, near
Spears' house, says the release happened "without any law
enforcement intervention, and for the public that's a good thing."
Spears was taken to a psychiatric facility at UCLA Medical
Center on January 31st.
A Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner put Spears and her
estate under conservatorship. Her father, James, was named Spears'
conservator, and he and an attorney were made co-conservators of
her estate.
Spears was also briefly hospitalized earlier in January after
police were called to her home when she refused to return her sons
to her ex-husband's bodyguard after a visit.
